Most Beautiful Place in Arkansas

I will admit to being prejudiced but this is an absolutely fabulous place to live and visit. The scenery is magnificent. Unlike areas such as Hot Springs or Lake DeGray, Fairfield Bay is in a slightly higher elevation and therefore not quite as hot and humid as it is in the river valley and further south. Our winters are mild and short and summers are hot but typically short. In our 16 years living here, we have found that spring and fall are typically long and pleasant. Greers Ferry Lake borders the south edge of the town. There is an excellent marina, 2 golf courses, lots of related things to do since there are a number of Wyndam time share condos here. You too will love Fairfield Bay. A small town on the move. If you're in the market to retire or want a weekend retreat, don't overlook this place.
